Description

This is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed cottage and adjoining barn located on Buckingham Road in Bletchley. The structure features painted brick nogging and stands two storeys tall with an attic. Originally, it had dormers in a thatched roof, which have since been removed and replaced with a new tiled roof that has hipped ends. On the ground floor, there are two two-light wood casements, while two windows have been blocked off in the barn, which has been partially recessed at its west end with brickwork from the 19th century. The east gable end includes an attic casement situated above the base of an external chimney. Currently, the building is used as a store and workshop and is part of the historic rural area known as "Far Bletchley."
