Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is an early to mid 17th century timber-framed cottage located on Church Green Road in Bletchley. The building has one and two storeys and features a thatched roof that slopes down over a single storey section, along with thatched outshuts. The south front has two "eyebrowed" casements on the first floor, which have been renewed in wood. The cottage exhibits an irregular box frame with V bracing and collar trusses. Along with Well House and Yew Tree Cottage, Walnut Tree Cottage is part of an important rural group.
