Description
This is a two-story house dating from around 1840 to 1850, built of yellow brick with a decorative band separating the ground and first floors. It has a low-pitched gable roof covered in slate, with flat eaves. The front facade features three windows on each floor, spaced wider to the left. The windows are recessed, with glazing bars arranged in a 4x4 pattern, and have slightly cambered heads with stuccoed flat arches and reveals. Flush panelled shutters are fitted to the ground-floor windows. The front door is of three flush panels, topped with a rectangular fanlight containing a geometric and marginal glazing pattern. The door is set within a doorcase featuring slender pilasters, an entablature, and a leaded cornice hood. The property is part of the historic rural area of Far Bletchley, and it forms a group with the adjacent properties numbered 139 to 143 (odd numbers).
