Description

Brooklands Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century thatched house with a 19th century two-storey extension to the east. The road-facing front is roughcast. The west gable end displays exposed timber framing with tie beams and studding, incorporating chequered yellow and red brick nogging. There are three-light 19th century wooden casement windows facing the road. The south front features two "eyebrowed" attic casements, and the 19th century wing also has two-light casements. A stable wing is set at a right angle to the south, also dating to the 19th century. Some timber framing is visible internally, but much is concealed. The farmhouse is part of the historic rural area of Far Bletchley.
