Description

The boundary wall to the Old Rectory garden is located on the north side of Oakhill Road in Shenley Church End. This wall is in various stages of construction. The eastern end is approximately 60 yards long and likely dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of red brick with blue headers and features an angled section that curves around to gatepiers topped with brick modillions. The coping consists of both brick and stone. The western end measures about 27 to 40 yards long and stands around 4 feet high, constructed of brick with curved sections leading to cross walls.
