Description

This is a barn located to the west of Mannings Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubblestone and features a thatched roof. The barn has four bays, with an off-centre cart entry and an opposing draught door to the west. There are pigeon holes at eaves level to the right of the cart entry. The gables are stone-coped and include kneelers. Inside, the roof has double purlins with faking queen struts supporting the lower purlin and a collar for the upper purlin.
