Description

This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, is located approximately 40 metres north of the east end of the Church of St Mary Magdalen in Gillingham. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a rectangular shape with a moulded base. The corners are adorned with moulded quarter balusters, and the sides have raised panels. The tomb is topped with a moulded surface, although the inscription is not legible.
