Description

These are two 18th-century houses of red brick construction. They are two storeys high with a gabled roof covered in old tiles, featuring a dormer to number 9. Notable features include a stepped brick eaves cornice with projecting brick headers, and a brick plinth. The front has two windows. Number 9 has a 2-light casement window on the first floor, while the other windows have 3 lights set within flush wood frames; the ground floor of number 9 has a cambered head, and the ground floor of number 11 has a segmental arch over a flat grey brick header. The doors consist of four fielded panels; the door to number 11 has two lights. They are surrounded by plain wood architraves, and have flat hoods supported by brackets.
