Description

The building comprises a pair of 18th-century houses located on Green Road. Number 49 has a red brick facade, while number 51 has a roughcast finish; both are topped with a hipped slate roof. A large, double-stack brick chimney with a corniced top sits centrally, and similar chimneys are located at the rear of each house. Each house has two storeys and two windows, featuring sash windows with exposed frames and thin glazing bars. Plain window lintels are topped with keystones. The ground floor window of number 51 has been altered with a modern bay window. The front doors have labels supported by brackets and are flanked by panelled pilasters.
