Description
No. 54 on St John's Street is a mid to late 18th-century building made of red brick, featuring a stucco plinth and cornice. It has a blocking course above and a tiled roof. The structure stands three storeys tall and has five windows, each adorned with moulded keyblocks and gauged flat brick arches. All windows are sashes with glazing bars. The building has three bays, with the central bay slightly advanced. The entrance is highlighted by a stuccoed doorcase that includes a six-fielded panelled door and pilastered sidelights, all topped with a moulded pediment. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 50 to 58 (even) and the house adjoining No. 52.
