Description
Swiss Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed cottage located on St John's Street. While some of the timber framing is exposed inside, the facade is covered in 19th century stucco and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and two windows, along with a reproduction bow-windowed shop front. Inside, there are some 17th century paneling and remnants of a staircase from the same period. Swiss Cottage is part of a group that includes No 29 and Nos 33 to 37 (odd).
