Description

Old House Wydcombe Manor is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of Isle of Wight stone rubble and features a modern plain tiled roof. The building has one and a half storeys and includes two windows. The front of the house has two gables, each with 20th-century leaded light windows set in stone surrounds. On the ground floor, there are two four-light mullioned windows with leaded lights, along with two doorcases that have cambered heads and modern doors. Inside, the house contains two back-to-back early 17th-century fireplaces with four-centred arches, one of which may be dated 1660. The rest of the interior has been remodelled.
