Description

No. 6 East Street is a small 18th-century house that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of chequer brick with red brick dressings and features an inlaid red brick string course. The gable end has an old tile roof with a shallow wooden eaves cornice. The house has two sash windows with glazing bars, moulded flush wood frames, block sills, and flat brick arches on the ground floor. The first-floor windows have modern rendered lintels. The entrance is a centrally located recessed door with four fielded panels, two of which are glazed, set in a broad plain wood frame.
