Description

These are two early 19th century terraced houses located on the south side of Pyle Street. Number 12 is constructed of purple-grey brick with red brick dressings, while number 13 has painted brick with a rendered ground floor. Each house is three storeys high and features one window. The windows are sash windows, with glazing bars intact in number 13 and just one remaining in number 12. They are set within moulded, flush wood frames with block sills, and have flat, rubbed brick arches above. The doorways are deeply recessed and each has a door with six fielded panels; number 13’s door is modern, while number 12’s has a plain wooden case. Numbers 12 to 14 form a group.
