Description
Nos 15 and 16 on High Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall. They are constructed with grey headers and feature red brick window and door dressings, as well as quoins. No 15 has a hipped slate roof and a wooden eaves cornice. It has four recessed sash windows with glazing bars and block sills. The first floor includes two bay windows, each with three lights and slightly bowed fronts, plain strips, a frieze, a moulded cornice, and panelled aprons. The entrance is recessed and features a semi-circular fanlight above a depressed carriage arch with panelled double doors. No 16 has a block string course and a tiled roof with two hipped dormers. It has four windows similar to those on No 15, but lacks bay windows. The entrance is a recessed fielded panelled door flanked by fluted Doric pilasters, topped with a pediment.
