Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is an 18th-century cottage, originally a village bakery. It was constructed using coursed rubble stone from the Isle of Wight, and has a half-hipped thatched roof with brick chimneystacks at each end. The cottage is two storeys high with two windows. There are two casement windows set within brick surrounds, and a gabled weather porch with a semi-circular brick arch. A later extension was added to the rear of the building.
