Description

The granary at Gotten Manor is a building dating from around 1800, constructed using older materials. It features red brick on mushroom-shaped staddle stones, with a roof covered in corrugated iron. The structure has three by three window openings, each fitted with vertically hung boarded shutters. Inside, there are wooden pegged architraves and diamond mullions that are characteristic of the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The granary also includes reused 17th-century floorboards and spine beams that have run-out stops.
