Description

North Grounds is a farmhouse located in Chale, dating from the 18th century and altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble from the Isle of Wight and features a tiled roof with brick stacks at each end. The building has an L-shaped layout, is two storeys high, and has three windows. There are three casement windows with marginal glazing. A 19th-century gabled porch with a slate roof is present, along with an outshut at the rear.
