Description

The Large Barn at Apse Manor is an early 18th-century structure located in Newchurch. It is constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble and features a tiled roof. The barn consists of seven bays and has an angled queen strut roof. Inside, there are two tiers of slightly staggered purlins that are chamfered with run-out stops, along with some diagonal tension braces. A blocked mullion can be found on the left-hand side of the barn.
