Description
Castle View is an 18th century building located on Whitcombe Road in Carisbrooke. It is two storeys high with a painted rendered facade, and the sides are made of stone rubble and slate hung. The roof features double gable ends covered in slate.
On the first floor, there are two windows with two light casements, while the ground floor has three light casements. All windows have glazing bars and thin block sills. The entrance consists of a recessed door with four fielded panels and a plain wood doorcase. A gabled wood porch with bargeboards adds to the building's character.
