Description

This is a tall, early 19th-century house located on Holyrood Street, and it is part of a group with numbers 15 to 20. The facade is constructed using purple-grey headers with red brick dressings. It has a gable end slate roof with projecting wooden eaves. The house has three storeys and three recessed sash windows. The upper floors retain their original glazing bars, while the first and second floors feature decorative, non-functional window cases. A recessed front door is topped with a semi-circular fanlight and sits beneath a red brick arch. A stone plinth runs along the base of the building.
