This is a tall, early 19th-century house located on Holyrood Street, and it is part of a group with numbers 15 to 20. The facade is constructed using purple-grey headers with red brick dressings. It has a gable end slate roof with projecting wooden eaves. The house has three storeys and three recessed sash windows.
