Description

This is an 18th-century house that was altered and refaced in the middle of the 19th century, with the addition of red brick detailing. It is three storeys high. The roof is hidden behind a parapet which retains some older brickwork and stone coping. A rendered and painted cornice has been added. The second floor has two windows, recessed, with sash windows and glazing bars, set in broad rendered architraves. The first floor has a flat-fronted section with three windows. Doric pilasters, a frieze, and a modillion cornice project slightly, along with a block sill. The building features a good late Victorian or Edwardian shop front with panelled pilasters.
