Description

This is an early 19th-century building located on Holyrood Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of red brick, which was originally painted. The roof is tiled with a gable end. There are four windows, recessed and fitted with sash windows with glazing bars, each set within a flat brick arch. A recessed front door has four fielded panels and is set within a doorcase featuring engaged Doric columns and a projecting cornice. Above a present garage door, marked by a heavy wood lintel, are the words "Read's Posting Establishment."
