Description

Calverts Hotel is a late 18th-century building located at 27 Quay Street. It features a good wood frieze and a parapet, although the cement rendering detracts from its overall appearance. The hotel stands three storeys tall and has three windows, with the upper two storeys having bays. There is a central niche between the bays, located above the entrance door, which along with the niche, has plain stone architraves. The sides of the building have a rusticated plinth. Calverts Hotel is part of a group with Nos 27 to 31 Quay Street.
