GV II Mid C19 purpose built office building. Stuccoed. Two storeys, 3 windows. Balustraded parapet, concealing roof, with central pedimented panel having the carved figure of a working man and the inscription "UNITA BENE VOLENTIA ET CONCORDIA". Urn finials. Three sash windows including a central projecting bay. Cambered doorcase with rusticated and part vermiculated pilasters and a curved pediment adorned with carved sea monsters. The red brick range at the rear is in the ownership of the adjacent Rawlings Hotel and is not included as part of the listed building.
