Description

March House is a pair of houses built around 1800, located on the north-west side of Market Hill in West Cowes. The buildings are constructed of grey headers with red brick window dressings, quoins, and vertical courses, topped with a mansarded tiled roof. They are two storeys high with attics, featuring two windows and two dormers. The sash windows, which still have their glazing bars intact, enhance the façade. No 15 includes a bay window on the first floor and has a painted stringcourse and a parapet. The doorcases are framed with moulded architrave surrounds, with No 15 retaining its pediment and both houses having six-panelled doors.
