Description

Nos 27 and 28 Cross Street form a single building, dating to 1577. The building is two storeys high with three windows. It is constructed of painted brick. A bay window is centrally located on the first floor, with tall, narrow windows on either side. The original glazing bars are present above the ground floor level, while the shop fronts are modern. No 27 adjoins No 24 as the intervening properties are located at the rear in an alleyway. Nos 23, 24, 27 and No 28 are considered to be a group.
