Description

3 and 4 St Thomas's Square are two-storey buildings dating from around 1840, featuring modern shop fronts and a stucco facade. They have a parapet and cornice that conceal a slate roof, with a second-floor sill course. Number 3 has four windows, while number 4, which is slightly recessed, has three windows arranged on a curve, all of which are recessed sash windows with intact glazing bars. Number 3 includes Venetian shutters on the second floor and pediments on consoles above the first-floor windows. Number 4's windows are framed with architrave surrounds. Together, numbers 3 and 4, along with numbers 30 and 31 Cross Street, form a cohesive group.
