Description
Bembridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1830, with a porch and rear wing added in 1862, as indicated by the date on the keystone above the porch. It is constructed of Isle of Wight stone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and a hipped slate roof, along with brick chimney stacks. The main front range is square in plan and has a later L-shaped wing. The building stands two storeys tall and has three windows. It features wide eaves and three 16-pane sash windows with cambered heads. The central gabled stone weatherporch has a round-headed opening with a keystone, and there is a modern glazed door set back to the right-hand side in the L wing, which also has 16-pane sashes.
