Description

Merryweather Stone Cottage is a pair of cottages built around 1760. They are constructed from Isle of Wight stone rubble with ashlar quoins and feature a thatched roof. The cottages are one and a half storeys high, with three windows in Merryweather and four in Stone Cottage, all of which are 19th-century casements. Stone Cottage has two eyebrow dormers and a vertical iron tie, along with a doorcase that includes a penticed thatched and weatherboarded porch. Merryweather has a 20th-century weatherboarded porch on the left side, two 19th-century casements, and a lean-to on the left side.
