Description

Flanesford Priory Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, possibly built on the site of an earlier structure. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with ashlar facing on the main elevation and has slate roofs. The main range is aligned east to west, facing south, and features a central entrance. There are gable-end stacks and a rear service wing, creating an L-shaped layout. The building has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, with two string courses and a parapet. The façade includes three 20th-century two-light casement windows, which likely replaced earlier glazing bar sash windows. The weatherings at the lintels and a partly-glazed door are complemented by a gabled wooden canopied porch.
