Description
Y Crwys is a cottage, likely built in the mid-19th century. It features squared coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and a 20th-century tiled roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is single depth, with a central entrance and an additional entrance along with an external stack on the south gable end. It is a single storey with an attic, showcasing a plain front that includes a central gable displaying the coat of arms of Goodrich Court, which has since been demolished, in the upper panel. Above this, there is an attic window set above a plain arched panel. The doorway is Caernarvon arched and has a nail-studded door. At the apex of the roof, there is a centrally placed stone cross. The cottage is believed to have served as a lock-up.
