Description
The Windmill is a house that consists of two sections, with the left part dating from the 18th century or earlier and the right part likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed of clunch with red brick dressings and features a thatched roof with one brick chimneystack. The building stands two storeys high and has four windows arranged in a T-shape.
On the left side, there are two 19th-century casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor has a sash window on the left and a 19th-century casement on the right, along with a brick gabled weather porch that includes a six-fielded panelled door. The right side features two early 19th-century 16-pane sash windows on the first floor and ground floor triple casements, with a cambered brick head lining above the right-side window.
At the rear, there is a T wing with a half-hipped gable end and a 19th-century brick extension. Inside, the room to the right of the porch contains a large spine beam.
