Description

The Village Pound is a circular pound, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features walls that are approximately 5 feet high, constructed from stone rubble with red brick dressings. The curved coping is decorated with grey pebbles. There is an entrance located at the southwest corner, which has a 20th-century wooden gate. At the time of the survey, the interior was planted with flowers.
