Description
Little Halt is a cottage that dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with an extension added in the mid-19th century. The left side of the cottage is constructed from stone rubble resting on a stone plinth, while the right side is primarily made of painted brick laid in stretcher bond. The cottage features a thatched roof with three red brick chimneystacks from the 19th century. It is one and a half storeys tall and has four windows, all of which have a distinctive and very unusual triangular-shaped glazing. There are four triple eyebrow dormers and four double windows on the ground floor. A modern gabled weather porch has been added to the front.
