Description
Sheepwash Farmhouse is a farmhouse that consists of two parts: the northern section dates back to the 17th century, while the southern section was built in the late 18th century, with a late 19th-century addition to the south wall. The building is constructed from stone rubble and features a hipped thatched roof with two brick chimneystacks. It has two storeys and three windows, including one six-pane sash window on the right and another on the ground floor center, with the remaining windows being 20th-century metal-framed casements. A modern thatched weather porch with a modern door is present at the entrance. The south front showcases late 19th-century red brickwork with yellow brick dressings. Inside, there is a spine beam with a chamfer measuring between 2.5 to 3 inches, featuring a lambs tongue stop, along with an 18th-century fireplace.
