Description

Farringford Lodge is a lodge dating to around 1870. It is constructed of ironstone rubble with yellow brick dressings, and has a tiled roof with a clustered brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high with two windows. There is a casement window to the left, and a two-storey canted bay to the right, featuring metal-glazed casements with Gothic detailing. A gabled porch on the right-hand side has a Gothic arched doorcase and matching side lights. All the Gothic details were designed to imitate those of Farringford House, as the lodge was originally associated with that property.
