Description
Niton Baptist Church is a church built in 1849 in the Gothic style. It is constructed from coursed rubble from the Isle of Wight and features a slate roof. The building has end gables with kneelers and four lancet windows with moulded stone architraves. There is a projecting central weather porch with a gable that includes stone kneelers and an arched doorcase. To the right side, there is a two-storey L-shaped wing, likely serving as the Parish Room and Sunday School, built with the same materials. This wing has a gable front with kneelers, a lancet window on the first floor, a double lancet on the ground floor, and an arched doorcase. The right side of the church features open arcading on the ground floor with brick-lined arches.
