Description

This is a K6 telephone kiosk located south of Bloomsbury Place on Marine Parade in Brighton. It was designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and made by various contractors. The kiosk is constructed of cast iron and features a square shape with a domed roof. It has unperforated crowns on the top panels and margin glazing on the windows and doors. A label on the back panel indicates that it was made by the Carron Company in Stirlingshire.
