Description

Numbers 20, 21, and 22 Grand Parade are a group of early 19th-century terraced houses in Brighton. Numbers 20 and 21 have brick facades which are now painted, while number 22 has a stucco facade. All have roofs that are hidden behind a parapet.

The houses are four storeys high, including a basement. Number 20 has a two-window frontage, while numbers 21 and 22 each have a single window. A round-arched entrance with a fanlight leads to a panelled door of original design. All windows are flat-arched. Number 20 contains a full-height, almost full-width segmental bay window, and a first-floor balcony with cast-iron railings. Number 21 has a full-height canted bay window with a first-floor balcony featuring cast-iron railings. Number 22 has a bay window canted to the ground and first floors, segmental above, and a first-floor verandah with a concave awning. Number 22 has a cornice and blocking course instead of a parapet. Chimney stacks are located between numbers 21 and 22.

The interiors have not been inspected. Cast-iron railings are present at the steps and area.
