Description

Numbers 9 and 10 are a pair of terraced houses dating to around 1815. They have black mathematical tiles to the roof, with painted brick dressings marking the quoins, and a slate roof. The houses are three storeys high, with a basement and dormers, each having a single-window range. The entrance has a flat arch, although the reeded architrave to the lintel is missing; an overlight is also present. Number 9 has a two-storey segmental bay, with the upper part set back, while Number 10 has a three-storey segmental bay, with the first and second floors also set back. The glazing in all bays has been altered. There is a parapet to the roof, which is a mansard roof with dormers. Chimneys are situated on the party walls. The interior remains uninspected. Cast-iron railings are present to the steps and area, with those at Number 10 likely having been renewed.
