Description

36, 37, and 38 Meeting House Lane are houses dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They feature stucco that has been scored to imitate ashlar stone. The buildings have a hipped roof covered with tiles and are two stories tall, presenting a four-window range across the entire group. The ground floor has late 20th-century shop fronts, while the first-floor windows, also from the late 20th century, are flat arched. The eaves are guttered. These houses are part of an important sequence with other buildings on Meeting House Lane, which is located in the historic area known as The Lanes. They are included for their group value.
