Description
No. 41 on Meeting House Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features stucco that has been scored to imitate ashlar, with a return of brick and flint. The building has a hipped roof covered in tiles and consists of two storeys above a basement. It has a one-window range and a flat-arched entrance leading to a shop front that occupies the entire ground floor, with parts of this front dating to the 19th century. All openings, including the loading bay on the first floor, are flat arched. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of an important group with Nos 1-12, 22-32, and 36-40 Meeting House Lane, which is located in the heart of the Old Town area known as the Lanes.
