Description
No. 32 on Meeting House Lane is an 18th-century house constructed of brick, tile, and weatherboarding, topped with a tiled roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a one-window range. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front made of brick. Each of the first and second floors has a flat-arched window. The upper storeys are tile hung and have a facing gable, while the return side is weatherboarded with flat-arched windows arranged in a scattered pattern. This building may be one of the earliest still standing in the twitten and is part of an important group that includes Nos. 1-12, 22-31, 36-41, and 43-53 Meeting House Lane, which is located in the heart of the Old Town area known as The Lanes.
