House. C18. Brick, tile and weatherboarding. Roof of tile. 3 storeys. One-window range. C20 shop front to ground floor of brick. One flat-arched window to first and second floor each. Upper storeys are tile hung with facing gable. The return is weatherboarded and has flat-arched windows of scattered fenestration. This may be one of the earliest extant buildings in the twitten; it forms a most important group with Nos 1-12, 22-31, 36-41, and 43-53 Meeting House Lane (qv), which is the centre of the section of the Old Town known as The Lanes.
