Description
These are two houses, dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, located on Meeting House Lane in Brighton. They are weatherboarded with a tile gambrel roof, and are two storeys high with dormers. Each house has one window on each floor. The ground floors have 20th-century shop fronts. All windows are flat-arched, with one dormer window visible on each building. Brick stacks are located within the party walls between the properties. The interior has not been inspected. These buildings contribute to the character of a significant group with numbers 1-12, 22-28, 31-32, 36-41, and 43-53 Meeting House Lane, collectively forming the heart of the Old Town known as The Lanes.
