Description

The garden wall in front of Down House, located on the north side of The Green in Rottingdean, dates back to the 18th century. It features cobbles with a stone coping and brick piers that are currently painted. The wall is interrupted by two gates, one at the west end and the other at the east end. This structure is included for its group value with Down House.
