Description

The garden wall in front of the Timbers in Rottingdean is a structure from the 18th or 19th century. It is made of cobbles and random flints, featuring brick dressings. The wall consists of two lengths on either side of the entrance to the Timbers, both made of cobbles with a course of brickwork. To the south of these lengths, there is an additional section made entirely of random flint. The entire wall is topped with a rounded brick coping. This wall is included for its group value with the Timbers.
