Description
106 and 108 Old London Road are a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century. They feature a timber frame with stucco and a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys tall, with No. 106 having three windows and No. 108 having two. The entrance to No. 106 has a flat arch and is topped with a cornice supported by consoles, while No. 108 has a 20th-century shop front. Both cottages have flat-arched windows; the window above the entrance to No. 106 is blank, the other first-floor windows have original 4/8 sash designs, and the westernmost window on No. 108 has horizontal sliding sashes. There is a ridge stack on the party wall, an end stack on No. 106, and an external stack on No. 108. The interior was not inspected.
