Description
8 and 9 The Square are terraced cottages from the 18th century located in Patcham, Brighton. No. 8 is weatherboarded with a tiled roof, while the southern half of No. 9 is similarly weatherboarded, and the northern half is constructed of brick with a slate roof. Both cottages are two stories tall and feature two windows each. No. 8 has a flat-arched entrance and flat-arched casement windows. No. 9 has a flat-arched entrance, signs of a segmental-arched opening, and one segmental-arched window in the brick section, along with a flat-arched window on the first floor that has horizontal sliding sashes. There is an external stack on No. 8. The interior has not been inspected.
