Description

This is a lamp post located opposite number 51 on Old London Road in Patcham, Brighton. It dates from the late 19th century or early 20th century and is made of cast iron and another metal. The lamp post features a cylindrical base with a lockable compartment marked "BLEECO." It has a fluted, tapering shaft that culminates in a basket-shaped capital.
